Type Rating Instructor 300/350/1900

The aim of the BE300/350/1900 TRI training is to enable the candidate to acquire the necessary knowledge for the BE300/350/1900 type rating training on ground, simulator and in flight, in a single-pilot and multi-pilot environment.

The training offers the candidate pedagogical concepts, training situations in the form of practical work during briefings, debriefings, and sessions on FSTD and aircraft.

During training, the Human Factors aspect, Threat and Error Management, and CRM concepts are developed in pedagogical situations.

Prerequisites

- Hold a CPL or ATPL license issued by EASA.

- Hold BE300/350/1900 type rating with PIC privileges (Pilot In Command).

- Have done during the 11 months preceding the beginning of the training at least 30 legs with take-offs and landings, as PIC (Pilot In Command) on BE300/350/1900.

- Have completed at least 500 hours of flight as a pilot on an airplane, including 30 hours as a PIC on BE300/1900 or be or have an FI qualification for multi-engine aircraft with IR(A) privileges .

In addition, in order to instruct in multi-pilot operation, the candidate must:
- Hold a MCCI qualification, or
- Hold or have held a TRI qualification for multi-pilot aircraft.

Program

1) Psycho-Pedagogical Module: Teaching & Learning Instruction
25 hours of ground training
Note: candidates who hold or have held an instructor rating are exempt from the psycho-pedagogical part.

2) Training Theory and Technique
22 hours
Candidates who hold or have held an instructor rating are exempt from the psyco-pedagogical part.

3) Practical Training Simulator and Flight
Complete TRI course
- 10 hours of FSTD
- 2 sessions of 1 hour of flight on plane
-Test 2hours on airplane
Candidates already qualified SFI on BE300/350/1900 type are exempted from the theoretical course and parts.

Restricted simulator TRI course
12 hours of FSTD including the simulator test
