The purpose of the BE300/350/1900 SFI training is to enable the candidate to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for the BE300/350/1900 type rating ground and simulator training, for single-pilot and multi-pilot operations.
The course offers the candidate pedagogical concepts, training situations in the form of practical work during briefings, debriefings, and sessions on FSTD.
During training, the Human Factors aspect, Threat and Error Management, and CRM concepts are developed in pedagogical situations.
Prerequisites
- Hold or have held CPL or ATPL license issued by EASA
- Have performed the proficiency check for the issuance of BE300/350/1900 type rating in an FSS within the 12 months preceding the request.
- Have completed at least 500 hours of flight as a pilot on a single pilot airplane.
- To hold or have held a multi-engine IR (A) rating.
- Have performed as a pilot or observer in the last 12 months preceding the request at least :
• 3 legs in the cockpit BE300/1900 or
• 2 simulator sessions for "line-oriented" (LOFT) type training, conducted by a qualified cockpit flight crew of the applicable type. These simulator sessions must include 2 flights of at least 2 hours each, between 2 different aerodromes, as well as the preparation of the flight and the associated debriefing;
In addition, in order to instruct in multi-pilot operation, the candidate must:
- Hold a MCCI qualification; or hold or have held a TRI qualification for multi-pilot aircraft.
