The Beechcraft 1900 is a twin turboprop commuter aircraft.
Our BE300/350/1900 Type Rating aims to train pilots to master normal, abnormal and emergency procedures, and to acquire the technical knowledge to study the airplane performances, mass and balance calculations and flight planning procedures.
The BE300/1900 Type Rating allows pilots to operate in a multi crew airline environment.
This training is done on a FTD2 B1900D FNPTII MCC trainer type followed by 02H00 of flight on the B1900D aircraft.
Prerequisites
For single pilot operation (SPO) privileges
• PPL(A), CPL(A) or ATPL (A) licence
• be holder of another HPAC type rating or EASA ATPL theoretical licence
• Valid medical certificate
• 200 hours of flight including 70 hours as PIC
• Valid IR-ME with minimun FCL055 level IV language proficiency
For multi pilot operation (MPO) privileges
• PPL(A), CPL(A) or ATPL (A) licence
• be holder of another HPAC type rating or EASA ATPL theoretical licence or HPA additional course
• Valid medical certificate
• 200 hours of flight including 70 hours as PIC
• Valid IR-ME with minimun FCL055 level IV language proficiency
• Airplane MCC
Program
Training, for B1900 variant, duration of 3 weeks :
Theoretical course
• 47 hours, during 6 days
Practical course
• For MPO on FSTD / aircraft (group of 2 pilots to be trained) :
• 8 sessions of 4 hours on FTD level 2 simulator - FNPT II MCC (ie total of 32 hours : 16 hours as PF, 16 hours as PM)
Test on FSTD
Flight on B1900 : 2 flights of 1 hour serving as flight training ie 02H00
• For MPO on FSTD / aircraft (1 pilot to be trained with another pilot already rated) :
• 7 sessions of 2 hours as PF and 1 session of 2 hours as PM on FTD level 2 simulator - FNPT II MCC (ie total of 16 hours : 14 hours as PF, 2 hours as PM)
Test on FSTD
Flight on B1900 : 2 flights of 1 hour serving as flight training ie 02H00
• For SPO on FSTD / aircraft :
• 8 sessions of 2 hours on FTD level 2 simulator - FNPT II MCC (ie total of 16 hours)
Test on FSTD
Flight on B1900 : 2 flights of 1 hour duration serving as flight training ie 02H00
Note : PBN training is included in BE300/1900 type rating program.
