The purpose of the examiner course is to train instructor pilots (TRI) at the level of competence required to become TRE(A)-SP examiner for high performance single pilot aircraft.
The purpose of this training is also to ensure the revalidation of the active TRE(A)-SP and renewal of examiners qualification which would have expired.
To bring the candidate to a level of knowledge corresponding to that required by the authority for the practical examinations, the flight crew skills checks and also AoC TRI-SP.
Prerequisites
- Have completed 500 hours as pilots of single-pilot airplane, including at least 200 hours as PIC
- Hold a CPL or ATPL and a TRI BE300/350/1900 qualification.
- For the initial issuance of a TRE qualification, have at least 50 hours of flight instruction as TRI or SFI BE300-1900.
Note 1:
To issue, as a TRE, a MPO type rating : incumbent must hold MCCI qualification or be or have been multi-pilot airplane TRI.
To carry out revalidation or renewals of MPO rating qualifications as TRE : incumbent have completed a crew operation training.

Extension of BE90/99/100/200 TRE privileges if the TRE is already authorized to exercise on BE300/350/1900 (AMC FCL.1015)

1) Theoretical course
Initial theoretical training: 3 days
2) Practical course
Initial practical training: 4 sessions on FSTD BE300/3501900.
3) Test
Assessment of competency (AoC) test carried out by a DGAC inspector pilot or an S-TRE designated by the authority,
